Based on my experience, here are some general price-points for certain projects. Most projects do require an individual quote, but you can use this as a guide to see what your budget might allow.
All projects require a deposit before work commences.

Personal Profile – starting from $1000
WordPress used primarily for blogging. WordPress and theme installation. Limited theme customization. A few static pages. A few plugins. Enough training to get you going on blogging.
Small Business – starting from $2000
WordPress used primarily as a business website, with a blog. Theme configuration. Branding and logo integration. Business requirements consultation. Robust plugin/functionality implementation.
Enterprise – starting from $3000
WordPress used primarily as a content management system (CMS) and social media platform. Custom theme development. Full branding and logo development/integration. Social media training/integration. SEO and marketing consultation. Content management training for up to 4 contributors.
